A culinary adventure with my friends and family

I know what you’re thinking, “Another Food Blog on the internet! Who needs so much food and words?!”

How will this be different?

Well, that isn’t exactly simple to explain. The TL;DR is this. I’m a professional photographer that loves cooking and eating food, this blog will be an outlet for my love of food.

If you want to read a little more about this food adventure, feel free to read on!

Food, boy, who doesn’t love food.  Some of my earliest memories were about food and some of my happiest times in life were surrounded by great food.  Do you remember the first time you had a slice of Pizza?  What the smell of the room was like, the taste of that first slice, the acid of the sauce, the greasy saltiness of the cheese, the yeasty dough, all combining into an amalgamation of pure heaven?  Do you remember how it made you feel?  Did it make you euphoric?

For me, food becomes more than just a was to fuel my body.  For me, food is love. Food is really happiness. Through the years I’ve battled with what to eat and what not to eat, how much to eat, and how to prepare it.  I enjoy trying new things and creating new dishes for friends and family to try.  I want my love of food to be known to the world, and I want to take you all on the journey.  Whether it’s finding a small restaurant with an amazing dish, an old family recipe made from scratch, old standbys and other great eateries! I want to show you them all.

Over the years my culinary skills went from making Instant Ramen in the microwave.  To changing the way I had to think of cooking as my wife changed her diet and became Vegan.  My recipes and food breadth have expanded to so many incredible directions and I’m excited to share them all with you.

What can you expect from this blog?  Simple:

  1. My thoughts on meals I make, with a lot of professional photos and some insight into what I am actually making.
  2. Food adventures to new restaurants with friends and family.
  3. Recipes, yes… Recipes. I have some that are standbys that were passed down to me over the years, some insane ones that I came up with on a whim, and some tweaked ones for the Vegan lifestyle that my wife lives.

All in all, I hope you enjoy your time here, for now, enjoy some of the crazy food you might see more in depth here.
